Main Street Fund (“we,” “us”) is an independent political committee. This policy describes what information we collect through this website and our communications programs, and how we use it.

What we collect

We collect information you choose to give us, such as your name, email address, mailing address, and telephone number, when you sign up for updates, opt in to text messages, or otherwise contact us. We also collect standard technical information when you visit this site, such as IP address and browser type, through server logs.

Why we collect it

We use your information to communicate with you about our work, to comply with legal and reporting obligations that apply to political committees, and to operate and secure this website.

Who we share it with

We share information with regulators as required by law, including the Federal Election Commission, and with vendors who help us operate this site and communicate with supporters. We do not sell your personal information.

Text messaging

By providing your telephone number you consent to receive calls and text messages from Main Street Fund, including messages sent using an automatic telephone dialing system. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or contribution. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help.

Text messaging opt-in data, consent and related collected personal information will not be shared with or sold to any third parties, unless required by law.

Your choices

You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. You can unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email we send. You may contact us at the address below to ask what information we hold about you or to request its deletion, subject to record-keeping obligations that apply to political committees.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.

Main Street Fund is an independent political committee. Contributions or gifts to Main Street Fund are not tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.

The signup form on our homepage collects telephone numbers with the consent disclosures above shown at the point of collection and an opt-in box that is never pre-checked. Opting in is never a condition of any purchase or contribution.
